Next year’s Bikes for BKIT Fun Ride, a sponsored cycle ride to raise funds for the Trust, will take place on

Sunday 14th July 2013

This will be the seventh ride we have organised and it again follows the a 26.5 mile ‘Leamington Orbital‘ route that starts and finishes at the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington Spa. The ride will pass Warwick Castle, Charlecote, Wellesbourne and Chesterton Wood, through some of Warwickshire’s most beautiful countryside.  The route is paved, fairly flat and suitable for cyclists of all levels.

Registration costs £10 (plus a 90p booking fee), for which all riders receive a BKIT t-shirt, food and drinks on route, an evening meal and a ‘Bikes for BKIT Fun Ride 2013′ participants medal.

If you are not a cyclist, you can also register as a Support Volunteer to help out on the day of the event. Support Volunteers help with marshalling at the start, half-way point and end of the ride.

Kandola Sisters Running Kenilworth Half Marathon For BKIT

UPDATE, 2 SEPT: Praveen and Rajveena with BKIT trustee Jas Mundy at the start of the Kenilworth Half Marathon

Praveen and Rajveena Kandola are taking part in the Kenilworth Half Marathon on 2nd Septmber 2012 to raise funds for the Buwan Kothi International Trust. There are training hard in Leamington for this race and are hoping to make a significant contribution to BKIT’s work. They say on their fundraising page:

“This charity is personally close to our hearts, the Mundy family have contributed a lot to our community and we are feeling sentimental about the race.”
